The historical relationship between man and dog started over 2000 years ago when the first dogs were domesticated by the ancient Egyptians, and they were then known as the dog breeds called Pharaoh and Egyptian dogs. Dog breeds came from the Ancient Greeks who named them dogs which was the name the ancient Egyptians used for the breed and the Greek word for dogs was the name used for the breed by the Romans.
Throughout the ages, dogs have been used as hunters, guards, companions, herding dogs, pets and most recently as companions in homes. The first domesticated dogs lived with their owners and were the hunting dogs that would bark to get the owner’s attention and were very smart, so they would get the attention by barking or then by whining.
Dogs are truly amazing creatures as they have a well-developed sense of smell that they use to find their owners and the fact that dogs are known for their intelligence and can make them very easily train themselves as it is their nature, meaning that training them is also easy to accomplish as they are ready to do it all.
Today, man and dog have been living together in harmony and have become the best of friends ever since the first dogs were domesticated as they were trained to recognize their owners by their voices. However, man has made man and dog the best of friends, yet dogs have never forgotten the master they served so happily, and the result was the first dogs.
Many of the dogs were raised by humans for a period of time, and it was these dogs who formed the ancestors of the breeds that we know and love today. Dogs that were owned by humans and trained to perform specific tasks were known as kitsune and had their origins in Japan.
The history of the kitsune is rich and it dates back thousands of years and these kitsune were originally bred for their intelligence and docility which meant that they were bred to serve a social role in the human house. When the people of Japan immigrated to the Roman Empire, the kitsune did not die out, though they were bred with other types of dogs to make them less aggressive as well as less docile to the humans.
From the time of the Japanese immigrants to the Roman Empire, the kitsune continued to serve as companions for the rich and famous, and they were also used by the Roman soldiers as bodyguards. Kitsune were kept in palaces and houses as well as the man’s homes.
Dogs have also been used by the Roman Emperors to serve as sentries and to guard the entrances and exits of their palaces and houses. Dogs were also used by the emperors to guard their hunting grounds and when the Emperor died and the throne passed to his son, dogs were also brought to the palace to be used as guards.
As the dogs kept by the nobility, they were bred to be docile and harmless, they also became more acceptable in public life, and this is why you will find a wealth of dogs in public houses. The fact that dogs have been bred to be friendly has also meant that they can be used as security dogs for hotels, shops and stores. This is why people would like to have a dog in their home as a family pet because they know that dogs are peaceful and calm and very friendly creatures.
