Do you have a dog with a chronic bladder infection? Here are some tips to help you understand the cause of the problem and treatment options.

Cervical cancer is the number one cancer killer woman worldwide. So if your dog is afflicted with bladder cancer, be sure to check for the tumor before the disease progresses.

Bacterial infections have been blamed for many chronic bladder infections. If your dog is suffering from a bladder infection, there are treatment options and prevention options too.

But most dog owners don’t talk with their veterinarians about canine bladder infections. Why not? Some dog owners aren’t aware that canine bladder infections can be caused by canine bladder cancer, bacterial infections, or from the immune system itself.

How? If the dog has a chronic bladder infection, it is too weak-willed and weak bladder sphincter muscles won’t let urine out. If the canine bladder is too weak and spongy, it holds up urine.

A dog will naturally hold urine for a couple of reasons. Sometimes, the dog is too weak to physically walk to the potty. Sometimes, the dog will urinate because it is too lazy to go. In chronic bladder infections, the canine bladder muscles are often weak.

You can help your dog to get over the bladder infection by keeping it healthy and clean. But the treatment will work better when the cause of the infection is tackled properly. And the treatment involves strong antibiotics and other medications that strengthen the dog’s bladder and urinary tract.

How do you prevent canine bladder infection? The answer is preventative. A dog owner can take a look at their dog’s diet, the house, grooming, toys, and other factors and make sure that they aren’t harmful to the dog’s urinary system. A healthy dog’s bladder will let urine out easily and quickly. It has no problems holding urine. If the cause of the canine bladder infection isn’t tackled, the dog will suffer and die.

So take heed of my words. Keep your canine healthy and strong. Your canine is a vital part of your family. So take note of my warnings.
