During the lockdown, Ashleigh Macpherson thought that it would be a good idea to adopt another pup into her family. So in came an adorable Finnish Spitz puppy named Kiko.

Kiko immediately became a beloved part of Ashleigh’s family, which motivated the pup to do all she can to reciprocate that love.

Kiko loves being around her fur mom and insists on always having her in her sight, even if it means that the pup needs to literally bend herself backward. Ashleigh said that ever since she first adopted Kiko, the pup would crane her neck backward whenever she sleeps. At first, Ashleigh didn’t think much of her pup’s unusual sleeping habits until the pup started doing it even when she was awake. And now, Kiko can comfortably bend her head 180 degrees backward!

The pup doesn’t bend her head just for fun, she does it so that she can look at her dog siblings and fur mom even if they are behind her. Ashleigh said that she was quite taken aback when she first noticed Kiko watching her with her head bent, but she ultimately felt touched at how much her pup wants to keep an eye on her. No doubt, Ashleigh felt just how much Kiko loves her.

With the pup’s unusual ability, Ashleigh thought that it would be fitting to call her trick ‘Demon’. So whenever Kiko hears Ashleigh call out ‘Demon’, the pup immediately bends her head and smiles back at her fur mom. But aside from the pup’s head bending tricks, Kiko also loves cuddling and playing with her family.

Ashleigh admitted that she tends to feel anxious because of all the bad news she hears about the COVID-19 pandemic, but Kiko’s funny tricks and loving personality helps ease her mind from her anxieties. Ashleigh went on to say that she feels so grateful to have Kiko around especially when she was going through some hard times. Like Ashleigh, countless other fur parents are grateful to have loving fur babies who always stay by their side.
