You can easily learn to read dog signals and develop strong and lasting communication with your dog. There are some common signs that a dog is feeling insecure and you can easily get to know when your dog is feeling anxious. When these signs are noticed you can easily respond to the feelings. Once the signs are understood you can easily deal with the feelings and solve the dog insecurity problem.

To begin with, there are some dog signs which show that the dog is feeling precarious. The first sign you can easily spot is the look of the dog which can indicate his feelings. Some dogs seem to become serious almost as if they are about to bark. Another sign of dog insecurity is when the dog growls when they are being teased, when they are alone or when they are hungry.

When a dog shows signs of dog insecurity you need to immediately correct the dog. A dog that is feeling insecure will try to hide his feelings which in turn allows you to understand them better. You need to be patient with the dog so that he can respond to your commands. You also need to be firm with the dog so that he understands that he needs to obey your rules.

For example, if the dog is feeling insecure the first thing he will do is to growl at you. You need to tell the dog “NO”. If you can use the command “NO” you will effectively tell the dog to stop doing his behavior. If the dog ignores you the third step is to “PROFUSE”, this will show the dog that you are serious and that you are not joking. The fourth step is to “GOOD LINE” this shows the dog that you are earnest and that you are leaving no room for misunderstanding. You need to continue with the correct process for 3-4 days. A dog that has been treated with the correct process will understand that he needs to behave the way that you want him to.

Dogs are very intelligent animals that will usually learn the rules well within a few days if you use the correct process. When a dog has been taught the process, he understands the rules and will not attempt to break them. If you break the rules the dog may just ignore you but will choose to play with another dog instead. Some dogs will try to bite the furniture, their owner’s hand or leg. If your dog breaks the rules, the fifth step is to “SIT” and this step needs to be done every time your dog breaks the rules. You should never use the word “OFF” as it is a training word and it is a very strong word for a human being to use in training a dog.

It is quite easy to train a dog to obey you; his owner if you use the correct process. The means are only used as a last resort when everything else has failed. There is no need for you to punish the dog if you do not get the response you want from him. If you give the dog a punishment he will associate the punishment with the act and he will not understand the need for punishment.

When you do use a training word it should be a phrase that the dog understands and will obey. The phrase should also be a command word. The command word should be something that he can do or something that he can make you do so that he can learn the command word. Once he can associate the punishment with the word, he will understand that the word is a punishment. The phrase “SIT” has to be said three times when you need the dog to obey you.

It is also possible that you have tried to train a dog with the wrong process and he has become disobedient. This is why it is best to use a different process every time you train the dog.
